Sugar Plum Market Helps Reining Strength Change Lives Across Fort Bend County

The Sugar Plum Market is racing ahead to another incredible event! Since 2001, the holiday shopping extravaganza has raised over $2.5 million for numerous Fort Bend County non-profit organizations. Previous grants have contributed to educational programs, food pantries, assistance for women and children, literacy programs, and many other charitable needs. The 19th Annual Market, presented by the Fort Bend Junior Service League (FBJSL) and Memorial Hermann Sugar Land, will focus this year’s “Joy to the World” theme on the amazing organizations that have benefited from these grants through the years.

The Fort Bend Junior Service League is excited to bring “Joy to the World”
through the highly anticipated annual Sugar Plum Market by raising money
for Fort Bend County’s charitable organizations, which provide for those most
in need. Since its inception in 2001, the Fort Bend Junior Service League
(FBJSL) has found purpose in giving back to our community. Through funds
raised at the popular holiday shopping event, the Sugar Plum Market has
donated a remarkable amount of over $2.4 million to various Fort Bend County
charities. Those grants have and will continue to bring joy into the lives of so
many in need.

Holiday Tradition Continues to Grow with 2019 Sugar Plum Market

The holiday season is still months away, but planning is already underway for the 19th annual Sugar Plum Market. Presented by FBJSL and Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital, the Market will take place at the Stafford Centre Performing Arts Theatre and Convention Center Friday, November 8th and Saturday, November 9th. Market hours will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.  A special Preview Night shopping event will be held Thursday, November 7th from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

FBJSL and Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital Present 2018 Sugar Plum Market Funds to Local Charities

The 2018 Sugar Plum Market, presented by the Fort Bend Junior Service League (FBJSL) and Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital, is pleased to announce the proceeds and beneficiaries of another successful event.  Total proceeds from this year’s Market were $335,000.00, a record-number, and were presented to local Fort Bend County charities on December 14th at a Check Presentation Party held at Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital.
